1. Introduction

  • Welcome to Helpee (“Helpee”, “we”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website [helpee.services and helpee.ph], mobile applications, and all services offered through our platform (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

  • To use the Platform, you must be at least eighteen (18) years old. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement and any other eligibility criteria stated within these Terms.

3. Account Creation

  • To access certain features of the Platform, you need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for restricting access to your computer or device. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Services

  • Helpee provides a platform that connects service providers with customers seeking various services. Users can browse profiles, submit requests, book appointments, and communicate with each other through the Platform.
  • Helpee is not directly involved in the provision and delivery of services. Any agreements or transactions for services are made directly between the service provider and the customer. Helpee does not directly guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services rendered.

5. User Conduct

  • You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You will not:
    • Upload or distribute content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful.
    • Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with them.
    • Disrupt the normal flow of communication or engage in spamming.
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other user accounts.
  • Helpee reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform in the event of any breach of these Terms.

6. Booking and Payments

  • To make a booking, customers must book the service and receive confirmation from the service provider. Helpee may use customer-support intervention, availability calendars or other features to help facilitate the booking process.

7. Fees and Commissions

  • Helpee charges a commission fee for each successful booking made through the platform.
  • Service providers are responsible for any taxes associated with their income earned through the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

  • You acknowledge that all content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, software, and trademarks, is owned or licensed by Helpee and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Platform and its content solely for the purpose of booking and providing services. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any portion of the Platform without Helpee’s express written consent.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. HELPEE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THE PLATFORM OR THE QUALITY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY SERVICES BOOKED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.
  • TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, HELPEE DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

10. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Helpee, its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, any breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation.

12. Changes to Terms
